Mutation Station DJam5

Our entry for the DJam5 48 Hour Game Jam!  Mutation Station is a game where you attempt to take over all the bases on the map using two types of units.  Collectors, to gather resources and Combat units to take over bases.  

Each base has mutators which change the units strength in different ways.  The first mutator is unlocked by creating a simple Bunker with a unit.  The bunker has a default random Mutator that cannot be changed until you upgrade the base to level 1.  Each upgrade unlocks another slot to equip a mutator.   After upgrading to level, the player has the choice to spend more to upgrade to a Lab or Factory.  The Lab and Factory unlock all mutator slots.

By travelling through bases, each unit will pickup up to four mutators.  Each base can replace existing mutators in one of the four slots on your units.  

Use WASD to move.

To send units, select your owned base, click either Workers or Combat (it will be red)  adjust the number to send and left click another base.

Take over all other HQ bases to win.
